Based at the entrance to the beautiful Tamar Valley in Northern Tasmania, The 0.9ha of cabernet sauvignon and 0.5ha of pinot noir of the Legana Vineyard were planted in 1966 by Graham Wiltshire - described as one of the three great pioneers of the Tasmanian wine industry. Originally named Chateau Legana, Velo is home to Tasmania’s oldest cabernet sauvignon wines. Varietals grown onsite, are pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon, shiraz, sauvignon blanc, riesling, pinot gris and chardonnay.
