Located in the Huon Valley, Australia's southernmost municipality and coolest wine region, our vineyard sits right on the edge of viticultural possibility. Our belief is that great Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are made on that edge, where the risks are high but the rewards even higher.

Theodore Roosevelt put it more eloquently in 1899 than we ever could now, "Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
