Ryelands Farm & Vineyard, Tasmania

Review

In under a decade, our Pinot Noir grapes have produced a red wine surprisingly pleasing to the palate, reflecting the provenance of its pristine elements and the natural alignment of sun, soil and source water.
Coming to the notice of connoisseurs and sommeliers, our limited-edition wines are credited with rich smooth flavours. highlighting a nose of black cherry with floral notes and subtle oak. It has a clean palate of black currant, lingering acid and tannins. Red jube notes are characteristic of this grape when grown in Tasmania’s cold climate.
To maintain full flavour, we do not fine-filter or cold stabilize our wine.
Winemaker, Derek Jones, is hands-on across all aspects of nurturing, growing, harvesting and the time-honoured techniques of turning grapes into fine wine – the alchemy of the vintner. All wines are vegan-friendly.
