Welcome to Resolution Vineyard, one of the southernmost vineyards in Australia providing excellent conditions for producing cool climate wines and only located just 45 minutes south of Hobart. It is a 1 hectare vineyard producing premier Pinot Noir grapes, originally planted in 2003 by its founding owners, Alison and Charles Hewitt. Alison’s father Peter, with the support his wife Helen, have kept the vines and property in an immaculate condition testimony to the award winning Pinot Noir it has produced.
The location has spectacular 180 degree sweeping rural and coastal views over the D’Entrecasteux Channel to Bruny Island and Mount Wellington is visible to the north. It is an inspirational place to be.
The property is set in 9 acres with a 2 bedroom residence, an olive grove, an abundance of wildlife in particular birdlife.
The channel area boasts some first class restaurants, cafes, vineyards, fishing, boating and wonderful touring country.
Resolution Vineyard is named after Captain Cooks HMS Resolution, which anchored in Adventure Bay, Bruny Island in 1777.
